What COVID-19 precautions are you taking to ensure the safety of your products?

I take COVID extremely seriously and have strict safety measures in place. All of my products are handled by me (and only me) in a clean and regularly sanitized environment. I wear a face mask and gloves at all times during the grinding, mixing and jarring process.

 

How are your spice blends packaged and shipped?
All of my oh-my-god-these-are-amazing spice blends are six ounces (most spices are just two ounces) and packaged in air-tight glass-and-labeled jars to lock out moisture and evil spirits. They arrive in sturdy boxes with padding to ensure they don’t shift or dance during the ride to your home.
 

Are your spice blends gluten-free?

Yes! All of our handcrafted, all-natural spice blends are gluten-free and preservative-free. And, no, we don’t believe in GMOs.
 

What’s the best way to store your spice blends?

Our spice blends should be stored in a cool, dark drawer or cabinet. Heat is the bitter enemy of spices, so please, for the love of the spice gods, do not store them above your stove. The heat from the oven/burners will degrade their taste and destroy the essential oils. Fast. Be kind to our spices and treat them like your kids, dogs, cats, pet lizards or whatever else you hold sacred.
 

Do your spice blends have an expiration date? 

Nope, our spices contain all dry ingredients and are nonperishable. That said, the longer you let your spices hang around, the less flavorful they become. In other words, cook often! A good benchmark for assessing if your spices are still fresh: Sniff them. If they’re still fragrant, keep them. If they’ve lost their scent, it’s time to part ways. Our spice blends should last for at least a year.
 

I hate buying stuff online. Can I purchase your spice blends anywhere else other than on your website?
Yes, as a matter of fact, you can. We sell our spice blends at The Village Retail at Ponce City Market, a super-cool place that only sells products from Black entrepreneurs. You should definitely check it out if you live in (or plan to visit) Atlanta, Georgia. 

 

Shipping, Refunds and Returns

 

How long does shipping usually take?

We ship via USPS. Packaging and shipping usually takes three-to-five days, and orders are only shipped on weekdays. Expedited shipping is also available for an additional fee. 

 

Do you ship internationally?

You betcha! We ship everywhere, including to international destinations.

Addresses
To ensure our products arrive at the correct destination, please check (and double-check) the accuracy of your address. Our delivery guarantee extends only to correctly addressed orders. At this time, we only ship to physical street addresses; we do not ship to PO boxes. Please note: if your box is marked as "delivered" per USPS, we cannot be responsible for stolen or lost packages. Please file a complaint with the US Postal Service and we will do our best to assist.

May I change my order once it’s been processed? Yes. Orders can be changed within the first 24 hours after it has been placed. One your order has shipped, it may not be changed.

What if I need to cancel my order? You may cancel your order and receive a full refund as long as your order has not yet shipped.

Can I purchase a gift card?
Absolutely! Gift cards are available for purchase on the website and will be emailed to you electronically.

What happens if my package doesn’t arrive?
That sucks. Please send an email to chefophus@ttspices.com so we can provide you with any necessary tracking information needed to file a claim with USPS.

Insurance
Our products are insured up to $50, the standard insurance offered by USPS. We currently don’t offer additional insurance. We do stand by our packaging and order fulfillment process, so if something arrives broken or missing, please contact us immediately for a replacement.

Returns
We want you to be happy with your purchase! If we make an error on our end, your product arrives damaged or the incorrect item was sent, we will replace your item(s) free of charge. However, if your order is correct, products may not be exchanged or returned. If there’s an issue with your order, please send an email to chefophus@ttspices.com.
